Benji's lip shook as he rubbed his eyes, threatening to cry some more. This girl said that if they played and ate cake...then he could go home? Was it true? He wasn't sure what to think anymore, but since it seemed to be the only thing he could do in order to get out of here...he would. Maybe if he started playing, she wouldn't notice him anymore and he'd be free to sneak out. He was scared to do that, though - what if the goblin was watching them and outside the door? Waiting to snatch him back up?!
"Um...ok," he said quietly, crawling out from under the jungle gym. He just kind of...stood there, waiting for direction. Slide first? Or maybe playing with those race car toys over there? He also watched and looked over his shoulder at the newcomer, looking to see what they would do.
