I think I'll take Mermish classes!" He knew it was a difficult language, but it must be rewarding once he knew it. And he and Bartholomew could practice together!

"It was lovely meeting you! Have a great day!" he told the hungry squid with a wave, avoiding to ask what exactly he would be hunting for. He wasn't sure he was ready for the answer.
