"Although, on second thought..." he pointed the cane towards one of the nearby displays which looked fit to burst with several different types of toffee.

"You know I have a weakness for toffee." he winked at his friend. It's true, Garreth had always had a soft spot for the soft stuff, but he hadn't had access to any for such a long time, one could be forgiven for not remembering. So rarely did he eat candy of any sort that Halloween always came as a bit of a shock. "What about you?"
