Once he was close enough, Farah immediately bombarded his space and hugged him tight. "You're here!" she said, the relief flooding her voice a little bit. Then he was telling her she looked nice. She knew it though. She'd made sure she did. And her eyebrow game was O+! "So do you!" she said, detaching herself from him to look down at what he had on. Definitely her Clayton.

Following him, she took a seat at one of the places he gestured at. "I've never been here before." She said pulling off her scarf and gloves to get a little bit more comfortable. It was kinda cheesy... but cheesy in the BEST way. First dates should definitely be here. She was biased about it now. She looked around at the place. "Have you ever been here? What's good?" Because they were going to eat right?

What did you do on dates anyways? Farah hadn't asked anyone. She should have.. but she didn't know any of her friends that had been on dates. "So how was your daaay?" She asked because she felt a little awkward on not really knowing if she needed to act different or not because she was on a /date/. Again... she would definitely read a book on matters like this.
"I'm here!" Clay exclaimed, blushing as she hugged him and he wrapped his arms around here in return. Did she really think he would have stood her up?! Nah, maybe not that, maybe she was afraid he would have chickened out and locked himself in his dorm - which, honestly, if he was still like, twelve, he might have done. Because of ANXIETY and all that. But not to Farah. Nope. She was too special.

"No, this always seemed to me like a place that you...go on dates,"
Clay admitted with a small chuckle. "And I never had anyone I wanted to go on a date with until you so..." his voice trailed off as he turned beet red and rubbed the back of his neck with a nervous chuckle. So, he just sat down instead. Madame Puddifoots just SOUNDED like a corny date place - and it certainly was. He had heard that on Valentine's Day, the cheesy factor was off the CHARTS, but he had never had an excuse to come here on that day. Maybe this year...with Farah...?

Ok, whoa. Getting ahead of himself here. He needed to focus on RIGHT NOW and not making a TOTAL fool of himself.

He couldn't help but burst out in a grin when she asked him how his day was. It was nice to know that she didn't really seemed to know much more about this whole dating thing than he did. He'd been a little nervous about that - not that he thought Farah was dating a bunch of boys behind his back, but he DID know that she had snogged someone and, well...that had certainly imprinted on his brain. He tried not to think about it, but he did, much to his dismay.

LIKE RIGHT NOW. UGH. STAAAAHP.

"Well it's a LOT better now that I'm here with you," he told her with a grin. He wasn't trying to be corny but it DEFINITELY was. "I helped Scarlett dye her hair pink for Halloween so that was fun! And, um, how was YOUR day?" he asked. As he spoke, he nervous reached for the menu as well. Whatever she wanted was on HIM, of course - he wasn't a shopper, really, so he had like FIVE years worth of allowance to spend on her, if she wanted to splurge!
