"Thanks," Maxton smiled shyly when a random girl in the store complimented him on his cape. "You look cool too. I mean your costume does. I mean not that you wouldn't look cool without the costume... I mean..." Shush, Max. Just shush.

Face flushing, he turned away from the girl and instead brought his attention back to the dancing dinosaur.

"I'm Mysterious Max!" The superhero he had totally just made up on the spot! He had to raise his voice as the dancing dinosaur had decided he needed some loud music to continue dancing to it seemed.

"Do I give you the money for these?" He pretty much shouted over the music, showing the dinosaur the self-inking quills he was holding. How was the dinosaur going to serve his customers with those teeny tiny dino arms?
