The Montmorency's didn't seem like they knew how to work an oven.

Maxton perked up a little bit when Sylvie said she was named after a character. "You mean like a comic book character?" He hadn't come across a Sylvanas in any of his comics but it'd still be cool. "I don't think I'm named after anything. I guess my parents just liked the name."

He shrugged and moved closer still in order to slip his hand into the jar she was offering. He plucked out a cookie and instantly took a bite. Mmm, baked to perfection it was.

"Thanks," he said through a mouth of cookie with an appreciative nod.
