Dungboms? She would have to check into those. The Gryffindors sounded like an exciting bunch, maybe a bit more adventurous than she would like to be a part of.
"No one in my house has done any pranks, at least none that I know of." The thought of her housemates brought a smile to her face. She had been quite lucky to be sorted into Hufflepuff. It had only been a little bit of time and they all felt like family.
Reaching out her hand, she took hold of Darcy. Being sure to keep her voice calm and her hold gentle, she began softly humming to the jarvey.
"Aren't you the sweetest thing. I bet we could be good friends." Looking up to Melbourne, she asked
"What exactly is a jarvey? She looks like a ferret, but I'm sure there is more to her than that." "That's great that Professor Wayland did that. I would have loved to have helped. I wonder if he will do that again..." she trailed off thinking about what sort of creature he might choose the next time.
