Sweet kid, Felicity couldn't help but think, offering a small smile in response to Slate's grin - the fact that he was willing to great her in such a friendly way when they didn't exactly formally know each other. Curling her feet underneath herself onto the chair, she leaned against the window at the boys next comment.
"You did? He sometimes comes 'round to chat." But Slate probably knew that, didn't he? Now she sounded dumb.
