The tugging at her robes didn't go unnoticed, in fact, Jessa tugged right back trying to pull her friend to her side in case she wanted to see the mirror too. Two eyes were better than one, afterall. There might have been something missing that surely Nat would've been able to see. "How else will we get answers?" She questioned at the girl's protest. "As far as I can tell, stepping into the mirror seems to be a no go on the possibility scale."

Clearly this was the only way.

The "or" did give her pause, but only enough for hope to fester inside her already now shifted into overdrive mind of the Ravenclaw. "You think so??? I wonder if we're the sort it's looking for." Curious. "If not, we may have to figure what that sort is so we can lure it out."

How did they look like a good idea? Maybe...maybe if they just....stood there....yeah. But that hadn't been working so far. It didn't seem at all inclined to lunge at either. Huh.

She hadn't met anyone at this school that had more Gryffindor tendencies than Jessa Cambridge, and OF COURSE, Natalie had to be friends with her. She liked her, yes. Natalie always learned things from Jessa. Some things she didn't want to know, other things were beneficial. But more times than not, she ended up in a situation that made her want to run away.

At least the laws of physics denied them entrance INTO the mirror, though. At least the mirror was normal in that sense that they couldn't go INTO the scene that it depicted. Because then they would surely die. What if they got trapped?!

Jessa was still hellbent on figuring this thing out.

And she interpreted Natalie's words the wrong way, of course, and seemed to think it was FASCINATINg that whoever or whatever was inside that mirror could snatch them up and eat them for lunch just like that. "Jessa, I think sometimes you would jump into the belly of a dragon just to see what was inside of it." And basically, that was a nice, creative way of saying that Natalie thought she was a little STUPID.

"I think we should leave it alone." FYI. Just in case she hadn't figured that out yet.
