The Slytherin pondered like he was told to as he scooped out pumpkin innards with his spoon. His pondering didn't really get him anywhere though. It really didn't make sense to spend fifty minutes brewing a potion when a spell would take two seconds.

Unless the point was to be inconspicuous. Hmmm, maybe that was it.
