"Yeah, same here. This amulet has some sort of protective spell on it, nothing TOO dangerous we've determined, but something dark. I gotta get rid of it and figure out what's in it," he explained. He didn't think she'd be interested, though - although he was proved wrong momentarily, as she asked if she could see it. He nodded.
"Just be careful not to touch it! You won't get cursed or anything, but a nasty shock for sure," he told her. He'd made that mistake already, and it hadn't been pleasant.
Once given the ok to do so, Aurora moved up the chair closer to the desk. Taking note that the curse on the amulet shocks people once touched revealed that there was, obviously, something of at least somewhat importance on the inside. The only hard part here was being able to get past the curse, and, in order to do that, the Charm lover would first have to know what the curse was. However, that was all just a very easy and simple spell that could be cast without any assistance needed.
Pulling out her wand and moving it slowly over the enchanted object, the woman had said in a calm and collected voice
"Sperevelio." Blueish gray smoke surrounded the artifact like an aura of sorts. Turning to the notebook, she called out to it, stating
"Find blue-gray aura" After the sentence was spoke, the notebook started flipping through pages and stopped at one of a hex which hadn't been named.
Going through the list of signs and comparing them, she grinned. This was the curse on the object.
"So it appears that the curse, is a very mundane and rather basic one." Silence rang through the air for a short second as Aurora had arisen from her seat and headed over to a different table, snatching a pair of leather gloves.
"There are a few ways we could go about doing this to get it open." She continued. Raising an eyebrow, she had then asked
"You need the amulet itself, correct?"
