They hadn't really had an awful lot of opportunity to speak to each other but she did remember the girl introducing herself. Yes, Hanna was the name she remembered.
The blonde stepped back from the window and took another look around the dorm, there were simply too many beds to count, but she noticed that each window had a different view from it. Granted, they all had a view of the grounds but they showed a different section. She moved toward her bed and sat down on it, her hand falling to the silky smooth bed spread. She sure hoped it was as warm inside as it looked. "It's brilliant, and so much to explore too" she replied.
This was her first time inside a castle, she simply couldn't wait to begin finding all of it's little knucks and maybe even finding out some of it's secrets. A castle this big just could not be without it's secrets. It would be a blasphemy if it didn't.
The first year fell back against the bed, her arms spread out above her head. "This is going to be so much fun, wouldn't you agree?" she asked turning her head to look at Hanna, a mischievous smile replacing the welcoming one. Hanna nodded, "Yup. Hanna Newton." She crossed to where Elliott had been standing and peered out of the window. "Oh it's so high up here. The views are great!" Hanna wasn't scared of heights, and she didn't get scared of looking out the window like other people she knew.
Spotting her trunk at the end of one bed, she went over and saw her cat already purring and asleep on the covers. "Gigi!" Hanna said, slightly too loudly, waking the poor cat. Hanna flopped on the bed, further disturbing the animal. "Oh they're so comfy!" Hanna was getting less and less anxious about being away from her family. "Are you as excited to explore the castle as I am?" she asked in response. Hanna could not WAIT to know ALL of Hogwarts' secrets. "I think it's going to be the BEST experience in life." NO DOUBT.
