So that was something Felicity couldn't argue with. She
did think about pouting and claiming that Hattie was totally wrong, and that she had prettier friends that she could paint, but she knew the other girl would either state the obvious - that none of her other friends were present right then - or would deny that they were prettier and insist that Felicity was on their level.
Which was, of course, what a friend did.
Even if they were totally wrong and there was no way in Merlins underpants she was as pretty as any of their other friends. "Fine," she said, the corners of her mouth turning up in a shy smile. "Paint away." At least a pretty background would detract from the weirdo that was front and center, yeah?
