The Broom Closest was Dark but Safe. Simon was cutting the Corner to go to the Great Hall a few Minutes ago. He was going to get himself a nice plentiful breakfast to start the day. When suddenly he saw a looming large shadow of a creature on four legs coming around the Well lit corner he was about to turn to.

Hesitant and unwilling to face down such a large unyielding foe, the Hufflepuff backed himself into the Broom cloest quickly and shut the door to it Fast and Loud. He instantly regretted such a move. Terrifying Shadow Creature surely would have heard such a noise and will come investigate.

For extra precaution Simon locked the door manually, then took his wand out bumping his elbow into something soft behind him. Paying no mind to that he whispered under his breath "Colloportus". No way was he going to make anymore loud noises. He tested the door handle to the broom closet to see just how locked it was. He handle would not budge. Until he let it go and the handle itself clanked to the ground.
Uh oh

Okay Simon. It's okay. Call for Help when you think it's safe to do so and no large Shadowy Four Legged Creature is outside the door.
Thank Merlin his Hand-Bag had some delicious snacks.
