Zoryn was starting to feel somewhat tense, which was strange. Is this what........... feeling??? Nervous??? Was??? Like??? Hello?????? If yes, then Zoryn didn't like it and she wanted a redo. But unfortunately that wouldn't be possible, as she could already see someone approaching. Rats!

She appreciated his words though because obviously he was trying to be funny, and they did make her smile. "Might be a good strategy, we could throw Slytherin a good curve ball!" Of course, she wasn't being serious either. There was no way Zoryn Spinnet would allow Gryfifndor to go into a match against Slytherin with only two players. They were the team to beat this term (and not just cause of her personal biases--or maybe only because of them, ahem).

Y'know the best part of running these tryouts? The fact that she was basically already friends with everyone who showed up. Sure there were a few that she didn't know as well as the others, but for the most part... They were ALL friends. And not only that, but some of them were accomplices. Like Beau here. That's right, she wouldn't forget his heroic stand last term. He definitely deserved to be on the team just for that. Hopefully he was good at Quidditch. "Beau, nice!" This was already shaping up to be a GREAT team and they hadn't even started doing anything yet!

Okay, Zoryn was definitely feeling all sorts of excited? Anxious? Anxcited? Yes, precisely that. Her internal feelings aside, she was definitely portraying a TOTALLY unfazed exterior. She let her serious game face fall, as she took a couple of steps in order to center herself amongst the crowd of Gryffindors that had eagerly gathered ‘round. “YooooOOOooooOOOOoo, welcome to Gryffindor Quidditch Tryouts! If you’re in the wrong place you should probably leave now," There weren't any of those right? "I promise we’ll only laugh at you a little,” that was a joke and people should laugh at it, okay? ANYWAYS, they were trying out for the best team, did they know? “If you don’t know me, you should make sure you never make that mistake ever again ‘cause I’m Zoryn Spinnet and I’m your Captain this term.” Though that wasn’t the main reason why they should commit the name to memory… One day when she became famous they’d all understand; in the meantime, however, that was much too long of a subject to explain. They were here for one reason and one reason only: Quidditch.

“We’re gonna crush Slytherin….. And the other teams and win the ENTIRE Quidditch Cup this year, so we need to have the most AWESOME, cohesive team EVER. Basically you’re here to show me what you’ve got today, so don’t be shy.” Did they understand that? It was important… especially the beating Slytherin part. She took a look around to make sure that heads were bobbing, before she continued. "I'm looking for 1 keeper, 1 beater, 3 chasers, 1 seeker, and 3 reserves. I'll be taking notes on my clipboard the entiiiiiiiiire time," they knew she was gonna be watching them, yeah? Yeah. Okay cool.

“I’ve got a some stations set up to test your skills, but first we’re gonna start off with some warm ups. If you didn’t stretch before you got here... first off, shame on you... but you’re lucky ‘cause I’ll start us off in some stretches. So spread out and make sure you've got room to move around,” They were SOOOO lucky that Zoryn was being so merciful. Mhm. She was soooooo nice.

“RIGHT ELBOW BEHIND THE HEAD,” she called out, angling her arm behind her head and pushing on her right elbow with her left hand. She counted out ten sounds before calling a “SWITCH,” indicating that everyone should switch to their left elbow behind their head. She followed this same procedure for various other stretches in order to loosen their arms, wrists, legs, ankles, back, y’know… and ~all that jazz~ before letting people stretch some more as they needed. "FYI: Coming around to mark down your top choice position," so they needed to tell her that.

OOC Note: Hihi again ~~~ look at all of you *___* y’all are incredible !! We’re starting with some STRETCHING, feel free to make them up. This is meant to be chiilllllllllll.

1. To try out you have to post in here AND fill out this survey at some point (y’all have approx 2 weeks for this)
2. I’m going to be posting at a consistent pace (to help move things along), but you can ALWAYS play catch up as long as this thread remains open
3. I know it feels super structured right now with my posts coming in and moving along like a lesson, but once warm ups are over and they get into the real ACTIVITY it won't be like this anymore so please bare with me

As always, hmu with any questions you have and I'll post again in AT LEAST 24 hours. (probably more).
