Today was going to be THE BEST DAY EVER so far at Hogwarts because it was TRYOUTS DAY, and Emma was READY. She had already told EVERYONE ( literally, everyone she came across) that she was going to be on her house team and she was SO pumped to actually make that happen. Tryouts started much sooner than she thought because she had wanted to speak with the captain first about her AND Abey being seekers on the team, but that was oooooookay. Maybe she would see them and their awesomeness, and just KNOW that they BOTH had to be seekers. It was a perfect plan to Emma since they shared a broom anyway so couldn't possibly be on the field at once anyway.
Speaking of brooms.... she had a school one. It was soooooo BORING and not at all like Abey's really cool custom broom, but she couldn't go without so the much less cooler broom was across her shoulders with both hands draped over it as she skipped to the field. And their CAPTAIN was there! She was so cool. Probably the coolest girl in their house because she got to be CAPTAIN of the QUIDDITCH TEAM. That was goals. She must have been super awesome at quidditch and was on one of those international kid teams. And her broom was probably a custom made one too. SIGH. Emma would ask her later when she mentioned that her and Abey should both be on the team.
"Hi, Callum!" The coolest BOY in the whole school ever and her most favorite besides her OWN brothers. She was positively beaming when she reached his side, and had to look up just to see him properly (after she made HUGS happen) as he towered over her not yet 5' lithe figure. THEY were also going to be on the team together and it was gonna make his last year the best ever. "Isn't this the coolest thing ever???? I'm so excited. Hi, Captain!!" Emma gave the BIGGEST smile and wave to the coolest girl ever. Did she see that she was READY??? She was so ready.
