Shutting his eyes, he took of his glasses, before pinching the bridge of his nose and attempting to massage away the ache that had started to form there. Even then, he still tried to stay aware of his surroundings, not because he felt particularly suspicious that day, but so that he could listen out for anyone else approaching the room. All he needed was for some upstart Auror to walk in, see him relaxing, and start spouting the age-old and very quickly tiresome phrase 'constant vigilance'. Wise words, but terribly irritating. As if anyone could truly let their guard down after a few years in this job.
