Night still felt awkward. She pulled out her copy of Hogwarts: A History, volume 2 and looked for some facts that could help her. Apparently, the ceiling was enchanted to look like the sky, and that was how Hogwarts students knew the weather. Right now it was clear and starry. She just wanted food, and even more than that, for lessons to start. She wasn't perfect academically, but she was always eager to learn. And all of this would be completely new, so that was exciting.
Looking around, she saw that she was the only student with a backpack. Everyone else had shoulder bags. She hadn't had time to research England's fashions as compared to America's, but she had read that there would be a way to transfigure any object. She'd just have to ask the transfiguration professor. "What are the best classes?" she asked nobody in particular. "And what are the hardest? She wanted to learn everything.
