Fiona could see the connection as it happened and she couldn't help but grin. It was the change in expression, really. The way the girl seemed to light up from the inside out as soon as the wand touched her hand. It seemed to change the very atmosphere around them, filling the space with possibility, and the red head found herself feeling extremely pleased with her choice.

"I do believe it is the one for you, yes." The shopkeeper's assistant grinned and bent down so she could be at eye level with the younger witch.

They relocated back to Ireland when Emmalyn was 9 1/2.
