It probably would've healed nicely if he'd told anyone... but the thought of seeing a healer made him shudder. Besides, having a battle scar made him look cooler.
Daehyun couldn't help but grin as Shera was talking about Quidditch. She was truly into it, wasn't she? "How about this - I teach you about the British and Irish teams one day, and you teach me about the American?"
He had a feeling she was only being modest when she spoke about not making the team. "I'm sure you'll make the team. Just think about it, you've already got your own fan base ready to cheer for you to the point it'll be embarrassing," he grinned, pointing at himself ever so discreetly. He was already thinking about chants to shout at her games.
Shera couldn't help but laugh. Then she felt bad about laughing but just kept laughing. She could understand the urge to not tell your parents what happened.
"Well, you should be able to improve in our flying lesson? And if you still can't maybe I can help you out over the break or next year when we can bring our own brooms to Hogwarts!"
That was an exciting thought. And then Daehyun had brought up the idea of teaching each other about the different teams!
"That sounds great," she'd gotten so excited that she'd shifted up on her toes bouncing off her heels slightly with the curls following suit and bouncing up and down. She needed to calm down. She didn't know exactly how she was meant to do that though.
Then she giggled at Daehyuns comment.
"A fanbase of one," she'd giggled some more at the thought of Daehyun being her fanbase.
"Will you wear my house colours even if we aren't in the same house?"
The last comment was meant to tease him, but she was kind of hoping he'd say yes. It would be nice to know that if she made the team someone would be cheering for her no matter what.
