She was avoiding Madam Malkin's because it was always a madhouse and flooded with first years getting their first sets of robes. Natalie had been growing quite a bit, so she needed to get some new clothes for Hogwarts. But... she was stalling.

Hearing a familiar voice, Natalie looked back and saw her favorite Ravenclaw as she joined her at the candy. She smiled. "Yeah, I guess. And getting some chocolate frogs for Derf," she added, gesturing to the stockpile of chocolate in her basket.

"How's your summer been?" she asked, moving down the aisle to some more chocolates. It was a shame they hadn't hung out all summer. She wondered if Jessa had gone to Zita's party that she and Liam very deliberately did not go to.
