Ethan bit his lip and hung back as he watched the kids interact with each other, he wasn’t expecting anyone to say hello to him, so he wasn’t surprised when most everyone didn’t.
Part of him was thinking about sneaking out of the Party if he was honest, because well.. he didn’t really want to feel like he didn’t exist.. And he had promised Zita he would come, but he had come! So he had fulfilled that right?
The fourteen year old was just about to turn and head out when people actually spotted him. He waved to Juni as she spoke to him and he nodded “Hey Juni! And I do know him, we met at school I think?” He said as he waved a bit at Slate and moved a bit closer to the other people at the party.
He turned to Zita and smiled at her greeting. “I’m here as promised, and yeah maybe? Swimming looks fun right now. ” This was a party yeah? He shook her head at her question though.
“I’m afraid I don’t actually.” He said with a bit of a shrug. |
