Why did it seem that the sphinx was staring into their souls? It was rather alarming, and made Arielle want to look away. Still, she had to consider what the answer to the riddle could be. Biting her lip, she glanced at Levi, wondering if he had any idea of his own, but it didn't matter too much because she had certain ideas and he might very well agree with her on this.

"Okay, I think it's either hair or nails," she told him. "More likely hair since a lot of people value it. What do you think?" Before giving a proper answer to the sphinx, she wanted to make sure that they were on the same page. They had no idea what could happen if they answered incorrectly. If it resulted in them being eliminated from the competition, Arielle would be VERY annoyed.
