There was just this.....thing with knowing you'd basically made it through an entire sequence of a play without any major missteps and while her heart DID flutter as the curtains raised again to begin the fourth scene. It was nowhere near as chaotic. She could actually hear herself thinking, which was always a good sign.
Jessa looked to the other three, like they'd rehearsed a billion times. Her eyes no longer darted occasionally to the audience, a sure sign she'd really settled into the scenes and was becoming immersed in the pretend world.
Finally, with just the smallest step taken and her eyes on the fountain again, she said, "I guess it is time we decide who gets to bathe in the Fountain." The hesitation she pulled off as well as she'd done in practice, finding that she could probably do this all in her sleep in she was being honest.
The Ravenclaw did her best not to immediately look to Skylar, knowing she would fall but not wanting it to be obvious that she was expecting it.
At least the Slytherin didn't fall before her cue this time.
