Without even thinking about what her thirteen year old self would have reacted to what was about to slip out of her mouth. "Oh Julien it's just flowers honestly. Why don't you ask him if he wants to sit with us?" The boy was around enough that it wouldn't be awfully unbearable.

Of course the mother in Sundae preferred to have the boy close, to keep her eye on him. Both of them. She kept an eye on Julien you know those overprotective dads. She nodded, maybe he did have a point being overprotective especially with Juni here. "I'm sure it will be starting soon." She turned her attention toward the stage for a moment. She was sure that things would go smoothly tonight. At least it wouldn't be long until she'd be home for the summer.
