Patrick frowned. Thinking of losing his entire stash made him a bit sad for the older boy. He heard him ask about trying the fudge. ”Oh yeah, I tried it last time we came down, but my mama had made a bunch of fudge for her students so I got the left overs.” He thought about how his friends back home were and what they might be doing this year, maybe he’d get to play some baseball or something this summer with some of his old friends when he brought himself back to the conversation. ”My Mama likes to bake a lot of her own candies and treats, sent me a whole parcel of them.
