"Hi Stephanie!" he chirped, pleased to have found another something to keep his mind preoccupied. For the first time in a LONG while, the third year did not recoil at the sight of what was presently in his friend's hand - recent happenings had made his fear of flora become knocked down a few pegs in terms of things that terrified him. "Whatcha doing?" he asked, assuming it was alright for him to join her and plopping himself down right next to her. "Oooooh, aquatic plants? Dad knows loads about that. He helped take Stubby Purple Coral off the endangered species list. Or...well...it's SOON gonna be off the list he reckons."
Aquatic plants were also the ONE little niche in Herbology that Derf had a somewhat keen interest in. For amphibian and reptile reasons, mostly. Flipping through the pages of her book, the redhead took down more notes of proper plants to add inside her bowl. Clearly aquatic kind were winning compared to others. Besides, the house plant magazine she had also come across in the library wasn't doing much justice for plants out of water. So obviously a water surviving in just water was the winner. Smiling up at her friend, Steph nodded and passed him the book. "Would he know which would be good house plants in a terrarium? I might want to hang it in my dorm or room back home," Gotta add some decorations to the place. "I've got some of mom's old herbology books but I can't find anything that'll be a good house plant or something,"
