Default Act 4: The Fountain & The Departure


Echoing throughout the theatre as the curtain closes is the eager statement of Sir Luckless. The orchestra, even though it is dark, continues playing a low rumble to build suspense as the play transitions into its final act. Moments pass by before the play's theme picks up and the curtain starts to move.

As the curtain is fully opened, a familiar sight takes the stage. Fairies and various creatures linger about as waters pour from the fountain. The rare herbs, fruits, and flowers look more luminous than before. Standing beside the fountain are the three witches and the knight. Though triumphant that they finally reached the fountain before sunset, they look tired -- some more than others -- as they gaze at each other.

The quartet then remember that only one can bathe in the fountain...
