Hate to say I don’t remember your name.” He sheepishly smiled hoping that the older boy wouldn’t mind. He figured that in most cases people didn’t expect you to know every one your first year. He glanced at the boys haul and noticed a few of the candies that weren’t local to Kentucky and figured he should grab a few. Fiyero was a little surprised when Patrick said he didn't remember his name; then he realized that he must've been so distracted that he forgot to introduce himself. Yeah, nice going, idiot! he silently berated himself. He chuckled sheepishly. I'm Fiyero Jones, fifth year Gryffindor," he said, shifting his candy to one hand so he could offer the younger boy a handshake. "So did you lose any candy when the dorms were ransacked? Or are you just shopping?" If Patrick also lost a candy stash, he really felt for this kid! The Slytherin dorms were hit way before the Gryffindor ones, so if he was grumpy without his stash, he couldn't imagine how much worse it was for the other houses. This was longer than anybody should ever have to go without candy!
