And now, the guy. Brighton groaned, the black hole's pull still doing its work albeit more slowly than before. "You still alive, Gerulf?"
Adam was fighting the urge to run or flail or do anything besides mentally freak out. And mentally freak out he was doing - in a splendidly grand manner he might add. He was alone and blind and uncertain of anything. He was just thankful that he had enough experiences with odd happenings and bad explosions and other oddities that he knew enough to well, do nothing. So...float he did. Float and remain still and mentally freak out and pray that someone would find him or his sight would come back and he he could find his own way out.

I'm going to die...die alone...all alone....who's going to feed my fish? What about my plants...I left that rug hanging outside on the line. I can't let that get ruined....it really pulled the room together! And then his mind drifted off to worry about his potions. Yep. Adam needed to get a life.

Of course it didn't help that the longer he 'floated' there, the stronger the pull on his body felt. Slowly his arms started being pulled forward. Was he moving? And which direction was he moving in? Something about the situation made him believe he was floating away from the door. Which--could---not be good.

Perhaps it was time to start flailing around....He wiggled a little, but it only felt like the pull was getting stronger.

And then...he heard something. Was it his savior? Or was his ears just playing tricks on him.

Nope....nope....someone was in the room. It was amazing how quickly his hearing had adjusted to compensate for his lack of eyesight. But wait....was someone really blaming him for whatever had happened? Seriously if this room was that tenuous of a place, then there really should have been better locks or warnings or charms or all three on the door! The idea that his was his fault got him so angry he couldn't think in English anymore. As Adam tried with all his might to think of a scalding retort in English he felt the pulling intensify and his right shoulder popped out of it's socket. "ARGG!" Pain flooded Adam's body and his brain reverted back to his first language as he began cursing loudly in German.
