Gaston was pleased with the progress his orchestra had made! They'd started their piece in perfect time with no wrong notes played so far. He directed them into a dramatic crescendo to underscore Asha's collapse. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Miss Diggory and couldn't help but beam at her. What an amazing actress! And Miss Primeaux was doing a wonderful job too! Wait... That was just acting, right?

Then Paul shouted, and he quickly stopped the music. He traded his conductor baton for his wand and was about to conjure a cup and water, but Miss Cambridge beat him to it. He shot her a very appreciative look, but before he could say anything to her, Myrtle was crying about the scene being wrong. Oh good Godric Gryffindor, what else could possibly go wrong?

His bright blue eyes scanned the room, taking in the crowd around Miss Diggory, the wailing ghost, and some of the students' (Olivia, Zoryn, and Ronan) reaction to the chaos. "Don't worry, I'll handle her," he said as much to Paul as to the kids.

"Myrtle?" He cautiously approached the ghost. "You're right; we should've asked you. The reason we didn't is... we thought it might be too traumatic for you, but if you want to tell me what you think that scene should look like, I'm all ears."
