Turns out, she wasn't the only one to notice Skylar had taken her cue too early. So then...not a last minute change to the script she needed to worry about. Okay, good.
Jessa watched the Professor move over to the set, not bothering to move over to her like Juniper had given he'd brought the scene to a halt for now. Good to know he was paying attention....except...he seemed to think Skylar was in REAL danger. Was she? Hadn't this been a part of the act as well? If not, she could've said something when the curtains lifted--or even before. The play wasn't worth pushing yourself to the point where you physically couldn't go on and there were understudies who had likely also memorized the lines and were ready to step in at the drop of a hat.
The Ravenclaw stepped a little closer, conjuring a cup and some water for that cup before extending it to the man.
She still wasn't entirely sold on Skylar being sick but on the off chance she was, the show needed to go one because she had a cauldron she timed this rehearsal around and didn't wanna have to spend extra time here trying to figure it out.
Of course, it would be terrible if the girl was sick but...they had contingencies for that.....
