NOTEPAD! Derf threw Natalie a quick grin as he set it on his desk and unnecessarily smoothed the cover. Magical notepad! He sorta wanted to give it a go now...to be honest...and was half way opening it up to scribble something when class moved on.
Merlin. His attention was all over the place.
Derf continued to have a hard time focusing because of the bubbles and now he was completely thinking about popping them ... like shooting quills up to pop them ... so he was really only half paying attention to the lecture as things went on. It was even more difficult to focus thinking about the Rocket Charm and actual rockets. Little toy ones he had seen in shops not the grand giant muggle ones that went into outer space.
"Their incantations," he stated. Was that, er, too obvious? The third year took a moment to ruffle his hair.
