Exploring the school and playing games was much more to her interests, and if it wasn’t so cold she’d probably be spending her time in a much more interesting fashion. As it was, she was setting about finding a good place to sit by the fireplace.

There was another girl nearby, and Ronnie was sure that her name was a month or something, but she couldn’t remember what one it could be. No matter, as she would find out soon enough. It was the dog that held her interest more, though the comment about the forbidden forest got an eyebrow raise; did she REALLY want a forest with such creatures as acromantulas? It was mind boggling and honestly she had no idea why her mother insisted being Headmistress of such a place. Anyway... She gave a small smile. ”What’s your dog’s name?” she asked with mild curiosity.
She heard a voice and looked up, she smiled, usually when people see her dog there a bit scared of her, "Her name's Avi, I got her from a breeder as a puppy, apparently she wasn't worth anything because she's a mix bred of a pit-bull and a great dane." she glanced at Avi. Honestly the meanest type of dog was a poodle, she wasn't sure as to why, thats just how it usually is.

She noticed that the girl seemed cold, at least it was the actual tempature of the room and not just November's circulatory system being glitchy again. She had a couple of years ago put a charm onto her coat that kept her body tempature livable, not exactly comfortable, but warm enough to keep her from going into hypothermia.
