The night was singing to him! Did anyone else hear it? Morgan heard it. His toes tapped to the beat, his eyes closing momentarily before he made his entrance to the shindig. Minister Nickels sang a few notes, on key he might add, and let the night air welcome him into its dark grasp.

A faux fur coat fell across his shoulders. Anyone with eyes would be able to tell it was faux, because he was a hip older guy. He wouldn’t wear fur to this function. He didn’t need level out for his blood, no thank you!

Food called to him, SINGING-- COME EAT US, COME EAT US. They were a choir, and one was singing offkey, probably a fruit if we’re honest. He began to orchestrate the choir with his arms moving in motion. He had conducted a choir of ducks once, you know. They had been the highlight of the event! Those little quackers! “Duck...duck….GOOSE!” He tapped two people on the heads, and the third, the GOOSE, he tapped just a BIT harder, just a bit intense, before he took off for the buffet. The food had stopped singing choir for him, so now he could devour all the food he wanted.

Ah, what a night to be minister.
