Jorge didn't let the little girl go unnoticed. He smiled at her and walked to the counter where the candy canes were. "Would you like one?" He offered before unwrapping one for himself. He knew that children sometimes didn't trust adults, which was a good thing, but he thought maybe if he ate one she'd be able to trust him a little more. Stretching out his hand he offered to the woman, "Jorge Cristo De La Garza, it's a pleasure to meet you. Though I have read a few of your pieces before." He kept up with competition and other forms of media so he had heard her name before.
Seeing another member of his team come in he gave her a nod before turning to his guest, "This is one of our newest members, Arabella Bernadotte Morgenstern. Abraella our youngest guest here might enjoy some of the hot chocolate if her mother allows." This way the little one could be having some fun while the adults talk about whatever Paige had been wanting to ask.
He frowned at her first question though, that was something that weighed heavily on his mind. "The last report I saw about it was that it was ruled an accident, though I do not feel it was." He couldn't shake the feeling that it was done to cover up what had happened here with Basil. Now the favor had left him a little more in thought. "I can help you with this to the point of I can let you in the archived area and you can look through and find the pieces you would like, but I have to ask if you could make a double of them so that we can hold on to the originals for our records." He wanted to grant her what she was after, but he needed to keep what he had organized as well.
Jorge couldn't help but laugh with Simon's comment, the once enemies surely knew how to joke now. He found Simon's answer to the family question very interesting. Fascinating wasn't an answer you got most of the time when you asked about one's family, but he was glad that it was good. "Mine is growing way too fast. I can't believe how quickly time goes with them. I feel like we were just holding Regina in our arms after she was born and now she is going to be 9. Cherish every moment because in a blink they are grown and wanting their friends more than you." He knew his children were still young, but they acted so grown up at times he just wanted them to be toddlers for a bit longer.
