YesJess! | Captain Goggles | Mama Badger | Eva's Soul Sister | An OG™ | It's all in the Numbers Muggle Studies usually proved to be somewhat interesting, even if it wasn't entirely relevant to herself as a witch. She did, however, beam at the sight of various sports posters on the walls of the classroom when she had entered, her mind wandering about the possibility that they might get to play a sport!
It wasn't until Professor K Stewart welcomed them, that the fifth year's attention snapped forward. Ah, so they were going to be talking about muggle sports, which hopefully meant more than just discussing them? And talking about the statute of secrecy? Oh no, they weren't going to have a debate about this again, were they? It seemed like anytime muggles were mentioned, some sort of debate broke out. What was next, allowing muggles into Hogwarts? She was okay with muggle-born witches, because they were witches, but full-bred muggles was a totally different ball game.
And then she heard Hattie speak up about being forbidden from competing in muggle sports. "Honestly, we have quidditch and gobstones, which are infinitely better than any muggle sports anyway." Really, so why would they WANT to play on the ground, when they could fly?! Which meant, she could care less about the clause forbidding them from playing.
