Well that'd been a relief, for however long it lasted. It felt good knowing the spell had worked non-verbally even with the wad of fire being sent her way but the feeling couldn't last when her second attempt had barely done anything.

Jessa watched both Skylar and Zoryn throwing off spells at the creatures but all she could do was stand and stare for several minutes. As she'd just proven, her levitating was only so good and no more if she insisted on casting non-verbally and she DID insist. If she kept leaning back on her verbals like a crutch, she would never master her non-verbals and Valko would never teach her that curse.
Of course...when she'd first decided to quit cold turkey....she didn't think it'd have such an impact on her lessons. Merlin's soggy beard.
