What in Merlin's beard just happened?!? One moment there was lecture and the next there was a bang there was an army of skrewts blasting fire from their bums. And Jessa was trying to capture one? And there was water shooting around and wasn't this Runes class?? Not Defense? Not Creatures?
Then again, the headmistress seemed to have an affinity for creatures in her lessons and it was kind of a way to show them the practical application of runes, so it actually made sense. Only thing was that Skylar was iffy about defense, mostly due to lack of confidence strangely. And worm guts shower? Where in the world?!? The fifth year glanced around for wherever the worm guts may have come from, bewildered.
Stare. Why couldn't she think about what charms or jinxes to use? Why was she just standing there ? Waiting for an attack ?? And then she heard it; SOS, SOMEONE HELP ME!!! I'M TOO YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL AND FULL OF POTENTIAL TO DIE!!!!!!!!!! a voice that she recognized as the person who had been staring at her rune carving and chanting. So dramatic, Zoryn Spinnet, and while Skylar really could care less about the younger girl, she also didn't want her to die. Who would she pick on for the remainder two years she had left at Hogwarts?
Mentally considering her options, she aimed her wand at its underside casting impedimenta at the one that seemed to have latched itself onto Zoryn's armor.
