"I'm sorry," she shook her head. "That book, yes, it was interesting...Kind of wonder how exactly it worked, in terms of sensing our presence and desires and skills? Like did it work on Divination principles?" Divination was not her strong point, that was for certain.

Louise merely shrugged. Truth be told, she was just making conversation, but she also wasn't about to admit that, so she quickly quipped a white lie instead. "I was curious. I mean, you're older, you'd already completed your JARVEYs. It just, maybe from an academic standpoint, might have made sense to choose you. But I guess, the book needed a female rep from Horned Serpent?" Actually, that probably sense. Kyle Baker had won the championship, thus proving his spot as the male representative from the Chae's house.
"If it did, that's probably why I didn't get picked," Drew joked with a laugh. Divination was a load of hogwash - anyone with half a brain could see that. Maybe the book knew of his distain for the subject, and that was that. It was a bit odd to him that the Thunderbird was being so...analytical (that was HIS job, after all, being the Horned Serpent) but it was funny to see her try and figure out why Aurora had gotten picked over him.

"Eh, who knows. Didn't end up going to uni anyways, so I guess it doesn't really matter," he said with a shrug. She knew where he was coming from with that, right? "So, what made you decide to apply for the Prophet?" he asked. He had never pegged her as a writer type. Then again, he had never shared his stories with anyone either, so she was probably thinking the same thing.
