But there was talking and banter back and forth and really, all Skylar wanted to do was curl up with her script and practice her lines. And not think about the fact that someone had broken into the Ravenclaw Girls Dorm. Or the fact that the library had been ransacked and a book about the darkest arts stolen, a book that gave information horcrux creation. It wasn't a student at fault, but Kitty was the victim here and she wasn't convinced about an unforgivable (imperius curse?) being used on the head girl either, because she doubted Kitty would remember that.
No, this was dark magic at play. And yes, unforgivable curses were dark magic, but this was different. Skylar was sure of that much.
"When was the Ravenclaw Dorm broken into? And do you know what was stolen?" Also, if it was earlier in the term, an unforgivable didn't make sense. At all. They were using her through other means. "Because the library was ransacked maybe a couple weeks ago? And apparently a book about the Darkest Arts was stolen." Per the Librarian, who would know. "Could there be a horcrux in the castle again?" Per history, Voldemorts' were destroyed nearly a century ago. But there have been other evil criminals throughout that time and as Flynn so eloquently stated, history can repeat itself.
