She calmed down somewhat when Olivia tried to disperse the crowd. She shot her a grateful look when she said she believed her. "Thank you Olivia." It meant a lot knowing at least one person believed her.

"I don't know anything," she said to Jessa, frustrated at how guilty that might have made her sound. "You probably know more than I do. The last thing I remember was waking up in the morning. I hadn't even changed out of my night robes..." Was that it? She wracked her brain hoping to remember more details, but there was nothing. "And then I was right here, surrounded by all of you - and being accused of being in a cult." Which was a terrible thing to do to her when not knowing what she'd done would have been terrifying enough. And then she remembered the mess in the girl's dormitory earlier in the year. "WAIT! Earlier in the term, someone broke into our dormitories and made a big mess. We never found out who it was. I bet these events are connected. Someone wanted to frame me, that's what this is! They came into the dormitory at night and cast an Unforgivable on me. Then they made me write this message, and it must have worn off moments before you came in."
