Unforgivably Cursed | adultescent Finally. "Thanks, Professor." Henry was pleased to have finally gotten a vial of pumpkin-scented ink. Though now that he had it, he didn't care as much about it. Would he even use it? Was it pumpkin colored, too? Maybe it was more about wanting to have it too than actually having it at all. But he appreciated the gesture their teacher was trying to make and he'd sample the scent of it later. Right now he needed to finish his spellwork.
Did Marchand really have to call him out on his shoddy work though? He'd rather not draw attention to it and he didn't think he needed to be praised for it either. But he knew the professor was trying to be encouraging and he gave him a small smile in response before turning back to his fabric square.
Or he would have had the professor not put a riddle on the board. Huh. That was an interesting way to get them to think about the next spell. It was clearly the severing charm though, which many people already said. And he knew that one pretty well. In fact, it was one of the first he learned nonverbally. He was also pretty familiar with Flipnsnipwitit, though he didn't use that one as much.
Oh... they'd be making a quilt? Henry actually had a different idea in mind for his fabric square, but this could be cool too. He'd make it work. He just wasn't sure what shapes he wanted to use for the outer squares. Could they be blank with the heart in the middle? Or... okay, maybe something else. He thought about it as he walked up to get some more fabric.
