"Have you made any purchases lately, Professor?"

Tristan listened with a grin on his face. He knew if he could distract her by asking her questions about herself, she would be so enthralled by that, that she wouldn't ask him crazy personal questions. "No offense taken." He said with a nod. He knew school could be boring. It was why he did so many things that got him in trouble while he was here as a student. "Sounds like you had a great holiday." He said with a smile at her pause.

Was she back on this again? Well, he could give her answers. Where they truthful? Only he would know. "Uh, purchases?" He paused pretending to think, "The only purchases I made this summer were train tickets to Wales to visit my family, a wedding present for the Professors' Marchand, and supplies I needed for the animals." He said with a smile. He had also bought a new muffler for his motorcycle, but that he wouldn't tell her or her theories of him being in a midlife crisis would jump to life again. Not that they ever died. "What about you? Buy anything fun this summer?" He said with a grin.
