"Oh, I get plenty of inside time. Don't you worry about that." He said with a wink and a grin. "Shall we?" He directed the young girl to the lawn chairs, stepping out of the doorway and onto the porch, sneakily locking the door behind him with a wave of his hand. Hopefully she hadn't heard the click of the lock. He sat down, noting that Ash was sitting on the peak of the roof watching. He didn't seem to trust this young Gryffindor much either.
Raising an eyebrow at her question he grinned, "I've been doing just fine. Feeling great." Mostly...kinda....maybe. Anyway, that would be between himself...and himself. "Sorry, I look like this. You knocked just as I was about to turn the shower on. But I am sure you understand. Most of the time this is what I look like when I am not teaching. Taking care of magical creatures is a dirty job." He paused, "Anyway, How are you doing? Are your classes going well?" He decided the best way to get the spotlight off of him was to talk about her. "Okay, if you're suuuuuuuuuuuuuuure," she gave him a look doused with DOUBT, but lowered her bum into one of the chairs outside. Aw, nuts! This was so not going according to plan. At least she still had a plan though, 'cause man if she didn't have a back up then this whole thing would be absolutely pointless. Luckily, the Gryffindor had a knack for making things up as she went, which meant she was plenty adaptable. Outside would have to work. It just meant that she'd have to find a way to get him to do some more talking.
He was feeling great? Zoryn didn't buy it. Obviously this was all a cover for the horrendous heartache that came along with having a crisis of the midlife variety. In truth, Z didn't know much beyond what Professor Hirsch told her about them, but her imagination knew how to stretch. Instead of questioning the man, however, she just smiled and nodded. "I'm just glad to be back at Hogwarts, sir. The classes are boring, no offense, but the summer holiday was WAY more boring," she explained. "Well except for when I got to hang out at Faith's house, 'cause that was MEGA fun and when I got to go shopping at Diagon Alley--" As she came to a pause, she realized WAIT A MINUTE THIS WASN'T ABOUT HER.
THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE ABOUT HIM.
Ahem. "Have you made any purchases lately, Professor?"
HMMMMMMMMMMMMMM? Anything EXTRAVEGENT?
