Lucy watched Professor Myers as he spoke, as if he were the most brilliant thing in the world. To her defense, he is the most brilliant Herbology mind she really knows of. She nodded more. She LOVED research! And couldn't wait! She didn't mind hard work at all.
Maybe they'd have to invent a spell! Maybe they could do that!

Lucy didn't say much, but he could tell she was into this.
"It's a research date!" he said cheerfully.
"This Saturday, then, stop by my office! You can come right in the meeting space and just knock on my door. We can start...after lunch, then? Around...eh, 1?" Paul was excited too. He stroked the petals of the daffodil, pleased that it hadn't started honking yet.
"Maybe the end of this year, we will have some....singing flowers," he grinned. "Would...certainly look good on a Uni application," he said as he wiggled his eyebrows.
