He was also happy to report that all the students that had adopted were all making sure their pets were taken care of.
Next year they would all be at maturity and he would have to make space at the big barn. Or...they would be able to keep them at home if they wanted. He just wanted to make sure they were well taken care of the first couple years of their lives. Though his students were very capable, they were also very busy and forgot to check on their pets sometimes.
Tristan was just about to check on the Kneazles when he heard a voice coming from further down the way. He walked towards the sounds of Cruppies barking, and found Cami. Smiling, he replied, "Fancy meeting you here! I see that Cypress missed you dearly!" It was always nice to see his co-workers outside of the castle. They needed breaks with their pets too.
"Alright, alright," she laughed gently nudging Cypress down from jumping up at her face even though he was already on her lap! The commotion of her little crup was so much at the moment between his playful happy barks and her own laughter that she hadn't taken notice to anyone else coming inside the infant barns.
Only when Tristan was right outside Cypress'kennel did she realize she wasn't entirely alone. Oops. With a bright warm smile she looked up at her colleague from her seated spot on the ground in the kennel.
"Good morning, Tristan!," she laughed getting herself licked in the face before the cruppie darted off to the door of the kennel yipping at Tristan excitedly.
"He was! At least until you came and saved me from all the cruppie kisses," she teased.
"I think he's happy to see you as well and wants to say hello." Cypress knew Tristan better than anyone else minus herself and Emmeline at least. She liked knowing that her cruppie was in the best of hands while he couldn't be entirely in her care while the the term was in session.
