Miranda smiled as she was invited into Professor Stewarts' office and eased herself in and towards the window that overlooked the grounds... She had a thoughtful expression as she looked out for a moment and then back to her teacher.
" Thank you for seeing me... Well, let me get to my first thing.. So.. I missed nearly half of last term because of personal issues and stuff, but I was tutored while I was at home recovering...But... I feel like I could benefit from some extra lessons.. That is if you had the time.." , she said /asked her.. She was hopeful that she'd be able to do something to bridge the gap.
Professor Stewart didn't mind giving the teen a few moments to get her thoughts together. Crossing her office she leans against her desk, resting her arms light across her chest as she kept an eye on Miranda.
"You're welcome. It's no trouble at all." Lately her office was always busy with one student or another stopping by with questions or for various different training sessions in topics that she herself was teaching.
"I'm aware of that as well as the reasoning beyond your absence last term." Being as how she had been taken out of school it was something the staff knew about. It was something she wouldn't bring attention to on her own or at all unless it should happen to be mentioned by the girl herself and she was sure it wouldn't be right now.
"I think we can work something out. Once or twice a week to get you back up to speed should work? Would you be okay with that? I can give you some spells to practice in between our practice sessions as well." Quote:

And friends were the key. They uplifted you. Helped you. Ava and her were training partners. Olly always knew the right words to say to lift her up. Hady was a strong hand to guide her in the right direction. Noah was just... her rock. She nodded at the believing in yourself part. "Im working on that. Since this summer, I kind of see things differently. Which is a good thing. Im not so worried about what others think. Its about me." Took her forever but she'd finally learned that.
The final report. Noelle nodded, her mind already going to what she was going to write. "I can definitely do that." She was going to say that she'd have it in her hand by next week, but she wanted it to be perfect and with her schedule, she needed to be realistic. So instead she said, "Ill start on that right away and give it to you as soon as I'm done."
Then she looked at the professor. "Is there a way to track the storm?" Luckily they weren't short a number of storms. "And also, with the mandrake leaf in my mouth. How will talking, eating..... or .... kissing happen?" She asked blushing a deep red at the last two words. She was curious and you didn't find anything out about kissing in books.
"I'm sure both of your professors will be happy to know that you're happy for them," she smiled nodding her head. She was very happy Rose and Gaston had found love in one another.
The smile on Camilla's face spread wider. This is what she enjoyed hearing about her students. Those that knew it was best to do what made them happy in order to succeed in their lives.
"It's not always easy sometimes but as long as you follow your own road to what's best for yourself you'll be alright. It's about finding a pace that works well for you and sticking to that, do what brings you joy."
By now she was sure Noelle would rush right back to her dorm and get started on this paper. She wasn't going to tell her not to do just that but she would remind her to think things through and take her time.
"Remember. There is no rush in this." If it took her two weeks or even a month to write the paper then that's how long it took."
Track the storm?
"Well I'm sure if you know how to do that you could. However storms can be highly unpredictable and if not done perfectly in the moment of the storm all your hard-work is lost." No one wanted to have to start all over after waiting weeks, months or years for a storm such as the one needed for the transformation. A small laugh left her lips and she smiled.
"Charms. Either that or you learn to keep the mandrake leaf out of the way, some find it easier to write everything down rather than speak." It's mainly the taste of the leaf in ones mouth that got annoying, some were even known to have gotten used to it and admitted to feeling a sense of loss once the month was up.
"When you arrive at that point I can help you with what should help you."
