Like what if he couldn't hear anymore because she took his ears, it would be like that Herbology lesson all over again. What if she took his tongue, he'd: 1. Always have to keep his mouth open and 2. never be able to speak again which defeated the purpose of communicating with her bestie.
He would simply need additions. "I reckon it'd be kinda hard though." She admitted, handing him all the cards she'd picked up. "Conjuration in and of itself is pretty hard. Making something from nothing--it'd probably mess up your insides too now that I think about it...if it didn't connect right or ended up interfering with something else's connection." So maybe....she would stuff this idea far up the pipeline until she was better able to work it out. "Don't worry about the parchment. I was making copies anyway. Are you okay? Anything feel broken?" In other words, did he need her casting spells at him as compensation for ruining her work?? Ahem.
It wasn't to say the question wasn't genuine--it absolutely was and his wheeze had left her concerned. It was just....with that concern came an impulse to make it better through things she'd learned. An excitement. An eagerness. The Hufflepuff was torn between admiration and terror at his friend's words. On the one had he truly did admire just how brilliant a witch Jessa was becoming - which he THANKFULLY did not know about her, er, more questionable endeavors...save for the dabbling in necromancy which he was NOT keen on still - and it truly was amazing that conjuration and switching spells were within her wheelhouse as a fourth year...it was also a little scary. You know, brilliant...but scary. To quote a certain famous wizard of whom he had about a dozen chocolate frog cards of.
Which was why her words were greeted by nothing more than an unceremonious, "Oh."
To her question he just shook his head. "Nope. Bum is a little sore but nope. I'm good." Although he did pause for a moment. "I mean...if you wanted to er...conjure a bandage or something to be safe you COULD..."
Speaking of conjuration and all.
