"That's what the questions would be for, to help me design a wand that would suit this person.. It's difficult though because people change and certain wands and cores are better for certain types of magic." It was a complicated thing really, but that's what Wandlore was.. Oliver seemed to love complicated things. "Plus old wandmakers used to let people bring in cores that meant things to them. Like if you had a pet kneazle that you always loved you could use one of her whiskers for your wand core. The personal connection would make the bond stronger." or at least that was the idea.. Granted a Kneazle whisker was a horribly weak wand core, but it was just an example.
Up to now? This was pretty much it. "Nothing! Help me go on my coffee quest!" He grinned and then shrugged. "Bitter i guess if i had to pick one." He liked things bittersweet. Something to do with loving complicated things, probably.
A questionnaire to help determine what kind of wand the person would need based on their personality? "
So perhaps like a Myers-Briggs personality test or something to that nature?" she asked, intrigued by this idea. She nodded. "
I think it'd be interesting to test out. Maybe through this extracurricular, we'll be given an opportunity to test the waters." Vi paused and then continued listening to Oliver speak about this questionnaire. She nodded as he pointed out that people could change. "
Then perhaps wand should change too? Maybe wands should be changed every once in a while."
A pet kneazle.... Whiskers? Vi paused. Intriguing. Weren't kneazle whiskers fragile perhaps and not be apt for the wand..? Though she did see his thinking on it. She nodded slowly. "
Hmm.. Intriguing idea. Perhaps we could test it out?" She would def like to give that a try and see if it worked.
"
It'd be my honour to assist you on such an important quest, my friend!" she beamed as she ran through possible coffee ideas she could make for Oliver to try. Bitter can do. "
Sure. Bitter... Okay. I have an idea. We'll start with more traditional treats then bridge out from there." That seemed like a safer option. Start with an espresso and go from there.
